    I am not receiving messages. How do I sign up?

    • Information is uploaded from the CISD student profile via Parent Portal. If you are not receiving messages, verify your information is correct in Parent Portal. You may also contact your student's school to verify and/or update your contact information. 



    According to the school, my contact information is correct, but I am not receiving messages.


    • If you are not receiving emails and your contact information is correct, you may have accidentally unsubscribed. Please contact the school to check if alerts are selected on your student's profile.

    Text Messages

    • You must opt-in to receive text messages. To opt-in, text "YES" to 67587.
    • You will not receive any text messages from CISD or RES if you do not opt-in.

    What is a School Messenger parent/guardian account?

    Your School Messenger account is an easy way to stay connected with events happening at your student's school and within the district. 

    • Review recent voice, text and email messages sent by CISD and Reyes Elementary School.
    • View your contact information.
    • Manage your contact preferences.

    Visit to create an account. You must use the email address entered in Parent Portal for your student.


    How do I opt-out of CISD messages?

    If you opt-out from CISD text messages or unsubscribe from CISD emails, you will no longer receive any messages from Reyes Elementary School or from the district.

    • We recommended to: Use your School Messenger account to modify your notification preferences and only receive the messages you want.
    • To opt-out of all text messages from School Messenger, visit or text STOP to 67587.
